The newly deployed Edo NSCDC Commandant Agun Gbenga has assumed duties at the state headquarters in Benin, Edo State capital early this morning.
Commandant Agun Gbenga had moved round to inspect various offices in the State Command while charging Heads of Departments and Heads of Units of the Command to be punctual, disciplined and proactive in the discharge of their duties, warning that his administration will not condone any act of indiscipline from personnel.
In a related development, Commandant Agun Gbenga held a maiden meeting, with the management staff, and solicited for their support and cooperation with a view to achieving the desired result of tackling security challenges in the state, as well as to ensure the protection of lives and property and safeguard all critical National Assets and Infrastructure of government.
Commandant Agun said that his tenure of leadership under the leadership of Commandant General, Dr Ahmed Audi would be dedicated to ensuring results while actively carrying out the mandate of the corps.
