The Kebbi Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) marked this year’s International Day of Peace with its Commandant, Kabiru Alkamawa, leading his personnel in a peace walk to commemorate the day.”
During the walk, they raised awareness about peace and distributed flyers. The event was successfully conducted with the support of the Federal Road Safety Corps and a musical band.
In his lecture, DSC Aminu Usman from the Peace and Conflict Resolution Unit highlighted the role of security agents in peace and conflict management, while SC M.Z. Bawa spoke on the culture of peace. The event concluded with closing remarks from Deputy Commandant of Corps, DCC Giwa B.A., marking the successful completion of the program.
