The Kogi State Commandant, Paul O Igwebuike has advocated synergy and collaboration for excellent performance among secrity agencies.
Commandant Igwebuike made this known when he played host to the newly deployed Comptroller Immigration, Kogi State Command, M, C Monye who came on a courtesy visit today dated 21st March 2021 at the State Headquarters Lokoja.
The Commandant opined that NSCDC and NIS emanate from the Ministry of Interior and share the same Board which culminated to the strong bond between the two agencies.
The Kogi State helmsman assured the Comptroller of a very robust synergy and collaboration which will serve as a catalyst in eradicating all forms of crimes and criminalities in the State.
He averred that the tasks placed on Security agencies are enormous, therefore unnecessary interagency rivalry should be eschewed for excellent performance.
In his response the Comptroller Immigration appreciated the warmth reception accorded him and his team tagging it as top-notch. He said that this visit is paramount to him because his predecessor briefed him on the cordial relationship that exists between the two agencies and promised to build on it.
He reiterated that no any agency is superior to the other. However, each agency is expected to act according to it’s mandates discharging its statutory responsibilities with high sense of discipline and professionalism.
The visit ended with presentation of plague and taking of photographs.
