Plateau State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has made provision for 2, 500 of its operatives to ensure watertight security before, during and after Christmas and New Year celebrations, wishing Christians and the general public blissful celebrations.
The State NSCDC Commandant, Alexander Bissa Barunde charged members of the public to celebrate peacefully and report any suspicious movements that could lead to breach of peace or breakdown of law and order.
Barunde assured that the Corps in collaboration with other agencies is working round the clock to ensure that crime is reduced to the barest minimum and miscreants put out of the streets.
The Commandant warned mischief makers to sheath their plans as law enforcement agencies would leave no stone unturned until they are brought to book and dealt with decisively when caught.
