Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command Ado Ekiti led the medal table during the just concluded paramilitary games in the state.
The Command’s contingent won laurels in football, volleyball, 100m race and other sports. The 2023 paramilitary games was put together by the Sports Writer Association of Nigeria Ekiti State Chapter .
Nigeria Police, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, Department of State Security Service and other groups participated in the concluded games where reputable athletes, coaches and other sports administrator in the state graced the three day sporting activities.
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command presented national athletes in the likes of Tosin Adeloye, Tosin Oribamise who are officers of the Corps. Tosin Adeloye won gold medals in 100m and 200m race while the male football team won a bronze medal.
Commenting on the achievement, the State Commandant, Mr John Olatunde Fayemi commended the leadership of the Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi for his support on building a formidable sport unit in all the formation of the Corps which has been producing excellent athletes for the Corps and the nation.
Laurels and medal won were presented to the state Commandant for onward delivery to the Commandant General.
