Delegation of Thirty-Eight (38) Naval Officers on a Study Tour for Inland Waterways Security led by Rear Admiral S A Akinwande visits the NSCDC Kogi State Command.
Rear Admiral Akinwande pointed out that the visit was necessitated by the quest to acquire relevant knowledge in the area of Protection of Critical National Asset and Infrastructure amongst others as it relate to their Study Tour.
Receiving the delegation, the Commandant of Kogi State Command, S.I Mafara, took out time to educate them on the mandates of NSCDC and how the Dr Ahmed Audi led Administration has been able to Rejig, Revamp, Resuscitate, Restructure and Reposition the service into a world class organization.
Rear Admiral SA Akinwande, expresses satisfaction on the strategic ways NSCDC has evolved over time especially as regards the execution of it’s assigned mandates, stating that the Nigerian Navy will continue to collaborate and partner with the Corps in achieving National security.
