Former Vice Presidential Candidate of Young Progressive Party, YPP Hajia Umma Abdullahi Getso has described as alarming the increasing security threat across the country.

In an exclusive interview in Abuja, Hajia Umma Getso said the government lacks proper machinery to tackle the menace of insecurity rocking the country.

Hajia Getso urged youths to shun violence and money politicking as these have negative impact on the development of the country.

” Common man is the primary game changer, with women and youth having a sizeable number of the electorates and the need to chose an honest, reliable and resourceful leader while exercising their franchise as 2023 election draw closer”

“…And  our Party, Young Progressive Party spread  across the 6 Geo-political zones of the country and trying to change the mantra of , ‘youths as leaders of tomorrow’’, as this is becoming a mirage in present day Nigeria”

Reacting to the current effort by federal government to curtail the security threat, Umma Getso further said government should as a matter of urgency do the needful.

“It is crystal clear that many communities in Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara and Niger ware not presently habitable as terrorists attacks have led to high level of Internally Displaced Persons.

Getso urged Nigerians not to be swayed by money bags who always buy votes but rather vote for their conscience in the up-coming 2023 General Elections.
