COMMANDANT MARY MBANUGO DEPLOYS 2,500 MEN FOR CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS IN IMO

The State Commandant Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) lmo state command, Dr. Mary E Mbanugo has deployed 2,500 officers and men of NSCDC for the protection of lives and properties of the citizenry before, during and after the Christmas and new year celebrations.

This she made known to the Press Men in the early hours of Thursday 19th December, 2024 at the state headquarters of the command.

In the speech of the state commandant, lmo state is one of the states in Nigeria that deserves a good security network especially during this yuletide, thus this massive deployment.

The Security Commander made it clear that her command started early yuletide deployment where by officers and men of NSCDC lmo state command were deployed 2 weeks ago to Mann red spot areas and all the government critical assets and infrastructures such as EEDC offices and installations, Telecommunication installations, Churches, Schools, Mosques, marketplaces, Recreation centers, Motor Parks etc.

According to the Security Luminary *”my command in synergy with other Security Agencies in the State are ready to fight crime and criminality before during and after the Christmas and new year celebrations, therefore abroadians who wish to come back for the yuletide should have no fear of insecurity in the state because Imo State is safe and secured.”*

*Dr. Mbanugo* finally assured both the abroadians who intend coming to Imo State this period and the inhabitants of the state a water tight security where these criminals and miscreants will never succeed in their plans.

We are battle ready for criminals, Imo State will not accommodate hoodlums this time, either you change from your nefarious activities or you leave the state for another state because the wrath of law will definitely catch up with you, the state commandant warned.
