CDOWA NATIONAL PRESIDENT HAJ. AISHA AHMED ABUBAKAR AUDI’S COMPASSIONATE VISIT: BRINGING HOPE TO ORPHANAGE AND PRISON INMATES IN LAFIA

The wife of the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the National President, Civil Defence Officers Wife Association (CDOWA), Hajia Aisha Ahmed Abubakar Audi, today embarked on a humanitarian visit to the Lafia Orphanage Home Behind Specialist Hospital, now Federal University Teaching Hospital Lafia and Lafia Custodian Center located along Doma road, demonstrating her commitment to supporting vulnerable populations in the society.

The orphanage visit highlights donation of food items, clothing, and educational materials to the orphans.

She engaged with the children, offering words of encouragement and support. Pledged to provide ongoing assistance to the orphanage.

In the same vein, she visited the Lafia Correctional Custodian Center where she was welcomed by the Head of the Center, she distributed food items, toiletries, clothing and cash gift to the inmates.

She advocated for rehabilitation and reintegration programs. Emphasized the importance of maintaining hope and positivity.

Out of her kind gestures, she settled the bills of 15 inmates who have been tried and fined, but couldn’t meet up with the financial obligations.

With tears of joy, the inmates where in total shock realizing that their freedom is at hand, pray that the Almighty bless and preserve Mrs. Audi for her good deeds.

Mrs. Audi emphasized, “As a compassionate citizen, it’s essential to care for those in need. I’m committed to supporting initiatives that promote welfare and rehabilitation.”

This visit demonstrates Mrs. Audi’s dedication to philanthropy and community service, inspiring others to follow her example.

She proceeded to the state Headquarters of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Nasarawa State Command, where she was warmly received by the State Commandant Muhammed Kabiru Ingawa and some management staff, and presented to her birthday gift.

Earlier today, the the National President, Civil Defence Officers Wife Association was received by the Head Civil Defence Officers Wife Association (CDOWA), Nasarawa State Chapter Mrs. Udeh Florence in company of the female squad of the Command at the Lafia City Gate.
