The Zamfara State helmsman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence
Corps, Commandant Sani Mustapha has held talks with major stakeholders
in-allied business with a view to promoting and ensuring harmonious
relationship between farmers and herders in the state.
The meeting which brought together major stakeholders in agro-allied
sector including the Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry
of Agriculture and Food Security, Garba Mohammed enlightened and
educated herders and farmers on the importance of peaceful
coexistence.
The meeting also aimed at encouraging the stakeholders to work
together, towards boosting food security, as the Nigerian Security and
Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), assured of giving herders and farmers
protection, through its Agro Rangers, to go about their activities.
