The Sokoto Police Commissioner, Ahmed Musa, has solicited effective and result-yielding synergy with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to promote security stability in the state.
Ahmed Musa said last week while holding talks with the Sokoto NSCDC Commandant, Alkali Argungu that an ideal security could only be achieved with effective synergy among all security agencies ibn the state.
“Although police are the lead security outfit in piloting the affairs of the internal security a collaboration with other sister agencies in information and intelligence gathering is of immense importance in championing the course of security provision in the state, we therefore would do everything possible to maintain the tempo in sustaining the already establish synergy.” said Musa.
In his response the state NSCDC, Commandant Alkali Argungu disclosed how he had enjoyed harmonious relationship with other sister agencies, especially the police in Sekoto State, stressing how this has helped his operations in the State, while pledging to build on the existing strong synergy between NSCDC and the Police in the State.
