MESI-ILE PROGRESSIVE ASSOCIATION DONATES OFFICE BUILDING, OPERATIONAL VEHICLE TO NSCDC IN OSUN

The Imesi-Ile progressive association, has partnered Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps [NSCDC] in building a befitting office and donation of an operational vehicle.

Speaking during the commissioning of the office complex and vehicle, the Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr.Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni, OFR represented by Osun state commandant, Michael Adaralewa PhD. commended the security consciousness and development-oriented people of Imesi-Ile, Obokun local government of Osun state, who have seen the necessity of providing the gesture.

The NSCDC boss who approved the immediate deployment of officers and men to the newly built office, promised that more personnel that are disciplined and well trained would be deployed to work at the new office to secure lives and property in the community.

He also commended the Ijebu Jesa Area Commander, Assistant Commandant of Corps Adewole Adenike, for her dedication and unwavering commitment in making sure that the project became a reality.

Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi called for more collaborative efforts of stakeholders in the community towards reducing crime.‘’permit me to sensitize you on the sacred fact that security job is a job for all, the corps will need your cooperation and support through timely and useful information that will assist us to extirpate crime and criminal activities in this town and Osun state in general.’’ The Commandant General said

He also lauded the Imesi Ile Progressive Association for its efforts and deep concern for the safety of lives and property of the community and urged other communities in the state to emulate Imesi Ile.

While appreciating the stakeholders who made the project a reality, the Owa Ooye of Imesi Ile, Oba Enoch Ademola, represented by high Chief Tunde Aluko commended the association for given the project an accelerated speed and completion.

The traditional ruler, who noted that security is a shared responsibility, said safety of lives and property remains paramount to the residents in the community. Oba Ademola stated that the donated building and vehicle would open more avenue for growth and development in Imesi -Ile community.
He also promised that the community would give the necessary support to the Corps in achieving its objectives, especially in security matters.

Speaking, the national president of the association, Mr Shola Agbeluyi, thanked the traditional ruler and the NSCDC for their support in making the donation a reality, he called fo collaborative efforts of all security agencies in fighting crime in the community and the state at large.
