The Acting Director, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Mr Ifesanmi Babatunde has paid a familiarisation visit to the Commandant of the Edo State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Agun Gbenga.
Speaking during the visit, Mr. Ifesanmi Babatunde told the state Commandant Gbenga his visit was to familiarise himself and also to seek more collaboration with the NSCDC.
The Ag Director (JAMB) described the NSCDC as a critical stakeholder in the security of lives and property.
He applauded Commandant Agun his officers and men for their doggedness, resilience, and commitment to maintaining the image of the corps.
Mr Babatunde sought for the continuation of the already existing synergy between JAMB and the NSCDC and pledged to consolidate on the working relationship between both organisations .
Responding, Commandant Agun Gbenga expressed delight with the visit of the JAMB Director.
It is our duty to protect all critical national assets and infrastructures of government both in federal,state, and local government, which you are part of the commandant said.
Commandant Agun intimated the Ag Director of JAMB in Edo and his team on the Corps core mandates.
Commandant assured the JAMB Director of his unalloyed support and cooperation at all times.
