Katsina State Command of NSCDC Cooperative and Credit Society has held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday at the State Command Headquarters Katsina, Katsina State.
The Meeting presented the financial reports and activities of the Society for the year 2023.
In his good will message, the State Commandant of the NSCDC, Commandant Jamilu A Indabawa who also doubles as Patron to the Cooperative Society praised the leadership of the State branch of the Cooperative for prudence, efficient management and excellent performance for the period under review.
He emphasized on the relevance of such Society to personnel and urged the personnel to use the Cooperative Society in achieving meaningful dreams.
Represented by the State Command 2I/C DCC Akpoo James Uhaa, Commandant Indabawa charged the officials of the Cooperative to be God fearing and do more in ensuring accountability and checking loopholes. He further congratulated all the members for the successes recorded and enjoyed them to use their dividends judiciously.
Earlier in his address, the President of the Cooperative and Credit Society SC Aliyu Jamilu commended the State Commandant for all the guidance and admirable policy of none interference with the activities of the Cooperative.
He also pointed out the achievements of the Society such as growth in capital base, membership growth, settling the savings of 19 members who either voluntarily left or passed away, none interest cash and commodity loans to members, introduction of a profitable none interest investment for Cooperative and introduction of profitable business of buying motorcycle.

Presentation of financial reports, selection of electoral committee members to conduct fresh election, swearing of the electoral committee members and sharing of dividends across members.
