Kwara NSCDC Boss Advocates For Enhanced Vigilance In Kwara As He Inaugurates New Division In Ipee

In a bid to confront the mounting challenges of insecurity, violence and other social vices pervading various communities in the state, the Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Commandant Umar J.G Mohammed, commissioned a new divisional office in Ipee town, Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Unveiling the new division, Commandant Umar stated that the recent rise in security challenges in the state necessitated upgrading the outpost to a fully operational divisional office to address insecurity more effectively.

He further mentained that the establishment of the division will no doubt improve operational efficiency thereby reducing possible threats to peaceful coexistence in the state.

He commended the contributions of the project’s financier, Honourable Olayiwola Oyebode, Deputy Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, and the dedicated residents of the Ipee community for their unwavering commitment and support in ensuring the timely completion of the remarkable project.

He assured them that their efforts would not go unnoticed, emphasizing that the security and well-being of the Ipee community are of utmost importance.

He pledged to work tirelessly to address security challenges within and around the Ipee community, ensuring a safer and more secured environment for all residents.

Commandant Umar urged members of the community to remain vigilant and actively support the Corps by providing credible and timely information to enhance operational capacity.

He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and encouraged everyone to play their part in keeping their community safe.

” By working together and sharing information promptly, we can effectively address security challenges and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.” He said

Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Honorable Olayiwola Oyebode, expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, for his timely efforts and contributions towards reducing crime and criminality to the barest minimum in the state.

He expressed appreciation to the Commandant for his cooperation and efforts in ensuring the protection of lives and property in the community.

He urged the Commandant to deploy additional personnel to the new division to bolster the safety and security measures in the area

In his remarks, The Onipe of Ipee, Oba Lawal Mufutau Adebayo Titiloye III, expressed sincere gratitude to the Corps for its steadfast dedication to ensuring the safety of the community.

He stressed the significance of their continued support in upholding peace and security within the community and urged for its sustained efforts.
