Delta NSCDC, INEC Chart A New Synergy As Commandant Suleiman Receives New INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner

The new Delta State, INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Sir Etekamba Udo UmorenI and his management team paid a courtesy visit to the office of the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Delta State command, Suleiman Jimoh with a renewed hope of charting a new synergy between the two bodies.

He however applauded Delta NSCDC for their contribution to the success of the 2023 general elections and other subsequent elections in Delta State commending their discipline and professional conduct.

He emphasized the important role of the NSCDC as a stakeholder and member of the ICCES and urged the Corps in Delta State to keep up the good work.

He expressed gratitude for the already existing synergy and promised that he will ensure that it grows stronger and better in all ramifications.

Commandant Jimoh in his response appreciated the Hon. Resident Electoral Commissioner, Sir Udo Umoren for visiting.

He reassured the Commissioner of the continued support whenever called upon.

He then took time to enlighten the REC on our mandate on the  protection of Critical National Assets and infrastructure.
