The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has promoted the immediate past Public Relations Officer of Katsina Command DSC Muhammed Tukur Abdara to the rank of Superintendent of Corps (SC).
The former Spokesperson to the Command who was granted excellent award for best Performance in North West zone by the Commandnt General, Dr Ahmed Audi, has attended many courses, seminars, workshops and conferences.
During his tenure as PRO of Katsina Command, he demonstrated high level of commitment, creativity and hard work in projecting the image of the Corps.
It could be recalled that on the 1st of December, 2023, the CDCFID approved the promotion of 32,361 Senior Staff across the services.A total of 21,395 were promoted from NSCDC.
While decorating the past PRO and PA to the State Commandant with his new rank, CC Jamilu A. Indabawa congratulated him for a well deserved promotion.
He further praised the Hon. Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Commandant General AA Audi PhD,min, OFR for their excellent and visionary leadership style. He also called on his PA and all other Senior officers promoted to redouble efforts in executing the mandate of NSCDC.
