Former Inspector General Of Police, Solomon Arase Bags Citizen FM Award, Says He Would Serve Nigeria Till His Last Day

Former Inspector General of Police and currently Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Solomon Arase has declared that he would not cease serving Nigeria even till his last day.
Speaking yesterday shortly after he was conferred with the prestigious CITIZEN FM DISTINGUISHED PEACE AMBASSADOR, the former Nigeria’s police helmsman, explained that even as a former Inspector General of Police, Nigeria still requires his service at all times and that he would serve the country till his last.
”As a pan Nigerian our country is so dear to me, and that explains why I do not ask people where they come from, because I’m of the strong conviction that no matter our geographical or tribal location or our religious belief, we are all Nigerians and we need that sense of unity affection, sincerity of purpose to make Nigeria one the best countries in the world.”
”And let me use this opportunity to appeal to all Nigerians in the spirit of yuletide season to extend their hands of cooperation to the Nigerian police. Of course, the Nigerian police personnel are our brothers and sisters, so therefore they deserve our uncompromising support and love at all times so that at the end of the day we can all be proud of a country where lives and properties are extremely safe.” Arase disclosed at the ceremony.”
