As the year is getting to an end and surrounded with festivities, the State Commandant A A Gandi has urged the Corps personnel to be up to their responsibilities by stepping security checks before and after yuletide period, while wishing the Government and the good people of the state a peaceful and hitch free yuletide season.
He assured Kogites the Corps’ commitment towards curbing crimes and criminalities before, during and after Yuletide seasons. He made this statement at the State Headquarters Lokoja while addressing the personnel ahead of Yuletide deployment across the Command, Area Commands and Divisions .
He charged the personnel to be dutiful, vigilant and ensure the safety of lives and properties with all Critical National Assets and Infrastructures.
He opined that this task should be done with high sense of professionalism shunning all forms of human right violation.
The Commandant use the medium to intimate the public to be conscious and vigilant of what they purchase to eat and drink especially during the Yuletide season when some unscrupulous people would want to use the period to sell their unwholesome food items.
He equally noted that strange movements found around them should be reported to appropriate quarters.
