Officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have in conjunction with operatives of the Delta State Hawks of Nigeria Army 63 Brigade, Asaba arrested a suspected killer of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sunday Okoebo, who was serving at the Delta State Police Command.
Additionally, 125 other armed robbery suspects were said to have been arrested along with suspected killer of Sunday Okoebo with 15 found to be culpable.
Two of the suspects according to NSCDC statement in Delta were said to have sustained got shots injury as a result of exchange of fire between the security operatives and the criminal suspects.
According to Delta NSCDC Commandant, Suleiman Agboola Jimoh, exhibits recovered from the suspects include cut to size locally made pistol with live ammunition; laptops; money handset; bags; charms and cutlasses.
