Delta NSCDC Commandant, Suleiman Agboola Jimoh, Bags 2023 Prestigious West African Achiever (Security Jurisdiction) Award, Dedicates Honour To NSCDC CG, Ahmed Audi

On account of his enviable track record, sterling services, absolute commitment to service and sterling services to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Delta State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Suleiman Agboola Jimoh has been honoured with the prestigious award of 2023 WEST AFRICAN ACHIVER OF THE YEAR (SECURITY JURISDICTION) by the Confederation Of West African Journalists (CWJ), a regional media body headquartered in Ghana.

According to a statement signed by the President of the Confederation, Abayomi Runsewe, ”sequel to the extraordinary meeting of the above stated Confederation held in Accra, Ghana on the 14th of November 2023, it may please your highly esteemed person to know that the Selection Board of the Confederation headed by Dr. Chima Chibuike, had thoroughly among other nominees from Nigerian security sector of your category, screened your credentials, and appraised the sterling services you have been consistently rendering to Nigerians and Nigeria, specifically within your area of jurisdiction on the platform of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

On account of the above, we are pleased to inform that in view of all the indices applicable to the coveted award assessment process, you have been found eminently qualified among several other nominees from Nigeria security sector of your category for the distinguished award. Thus, your nomination for the reputable award of 2023 WEST AFRICAN ACHIVER OF THE YEAR (SECURITY JURISDICTION).

While receiving the award this afternoon at the Delta State NSCDC Command in Asaba, Commandant Jimoh described the award as a clarion call to work harder and remain ever compliant to professionalism.

”Just like I’m excited about this honour; so also, l feel sense of challenge to further work harder, because that is the only for me as a recipient of this coveted award to sustain its honour and integrity. Most importantly I must also work harder to further strengthened the confidence reposed in me by my boss, mentor and my Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni, OFR, who of course I’m dedicating this award to. Under him, he has consistently offered me all the enablement and support to help my career progression. His confidence in me is enormous. And at this critical period, I must ensure that the privilege provided me by my Commandant General is not in any way allow to wane. l dedicate this honour to him.” Commandant Jimoh said.
