Kogi NSCDC Commandant, Ahmad Ahmad Gandi Steps Welfare Drive, Gives Out Bag Of Rice To Personnel

The Commandant of the Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, Ahmad Ahmad Gandi has opted to step up his Command’s welfare drive by sharing out bags of rice reportedly donated to the Command by the Government of Kogi State

The bags of rice, according to a statement from the Command were giving out to personnel who were present at the muster parade.

This gesture according to the statement, ”was in furtherance display of the examples set by the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi to motivate officers and men of the Corps, especially at this period when the economy is not too friendly.”

While addressing the personnel, Commandant Gandi lauded their commitment to service stating that this gift will serve as morale booster to the lower ranking officers, enjoining them to be more dedicated to the mandates of the Corps without compromise.

In all, 14 bags were shared amongst the lower ranking officers in the command while six bags of the rice were dispatched Area Commands to ensure equal distribution.

Commandant Gandi however thanked the Government of Kogi State for the gesture.
