Troops of the Nigerian Army 63-Brigade Asaba raided a criminal hideout in the Koka area of Delta State, arresting over 140 suspects, including eight suspects for the killing of a police officer, DSP Sunday Okoebor, early Tuesday morning.

The Army personnel, while carrying out Operation Still Waters, were said to have engaged the suspected criminals, shooting two of them, though two fled with a pump action gun.

The Chief of Staff to the Brigade Commander, who handed over the suspects and stolen items and ammunition, spoke on the operation, while narrating how the suspects were apprehended.

After the handover, the police assumed full responsibility for profiling and further investigation.
