Cross River NSCDC Commanndant, Charles Brown Visits Calabar Free Trade Zone Director

As part of the Commandant’s familiarisation tour of agencies in the State, Cross River NSCDC Commandant, Charles Brown on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the Director Calabar Free Trade Zone (CFTZ) Mr Wilfred Odega. The Calabar Free Trade Zone houses one of the Command’s Divisions.

The State Commandant used the opportunity to thank the Director and members of staff for their support to the Division while soliciting for more support for effective service delivery.

The Director Calabar Free Trade Zone, *Mr Wilfred Odega* who was full of praise for the services rendered by NSCDC within the zone thanked the State Commandant for visiting to see things for himself, he promised to do more for the Division by providing a better accommodation for effective service delivery. 

The Chief security officer to the zone used the opportunity to request for arms to be deployed to the zone as part of the protection of national critical infrastructure, on that note the Commandant promised to revert back to the management.
