The General Manager of the Nigerian Television Authority, Lokoja, Mallam Yahaya Adamu has commended officers and men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC for their extreme display of professionalism, courage and ethical compliance, while seeking for a more consolidated synergy between the NTA and NSCDC.
Speaking during his familiarisation visit to the Kogi Commandant, Ahmad Ahmad Gandi recently, Mallam Adamu expressed the need to build on the existing robust and cordial working relationship between NTA and NSCDC in view of the fact that most of the equipment of NTA such as transmitting equipment fall under Critical National Assets and Infrastructures which protection forms cardinal responsibility and mandate of the NSCDC.
In his response, the State NSCDC Commandant, Gandi reassured the NTA of the consistent protection and unflinching support, because according to him, ”it’s a matter of national importance and concern to have NTA equipment protected at all times because of significance role in the country as information purveyor of the both the government and the people.”
