“In the security architecture of this country, we have come of age. I will stop at nothing to make sure that Ebonyi is safe. All hands must be on deck to make things happen.

“I am here to hit the ground running to continue from where my predecessor stopped. We have a mandate, first of all, for the protection of lives and properties, it is basic.

“Federal government gave us the power and the sole authority to cover the critical infrastructure of the federal, state and local governments. I am here to make sure that these are achieved We are here to also help the state government to achieve reasonable peace and secure lives here.

“NSCDC as we know, is civil in most of their activities. We assure Ebonyi people that my coming on board is going to be a break of a new dawn and honestly, I am available round the clock to attend to the security needs of the state”, Nnadi stated

Etim, while handing over the mantle of leadership to his successor, described the new Commandant as an experienced officer and expressed confidence that he would deliver on his responsibilities.
