INTER-AGENCY COLLABORATION: OGUN STATE COMMANDANT RECEIVES NATIONAL CHAIRMAN PCRC

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ogun State Command Headquarters, Abeokuta, Commandant David Idowu Ojelabi mni, received the National Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan and his team, in his office recently.

Alhaji Olaniyan noted that security agencies across Nigeria should against all odds shun all forms of inter-agency rivalry but ensure collaboration amongst one another for the betterment of securing the lives and property of the Nigerian people.

He went further to note that the business of the Police Community Relations Committee is to ensure that an average Nigerian citizen enjoy the fullest of security while running through their businesses within the nation.

Furthermore, Olaniyan promises to make the relationship between the Police (Security Agencies) and the Nigerian people a much cordial one thereby easing off the volunteering of information to security agencies by an average Nigerian across the length and breadth of the country.

While responding to the PCRC National Chairman, the State Commandant appreciated him for the visit on behalf of the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi and assured him of the full support and collaboration of the Corps in the Gateway State and across the country. 

Commandant Ojelabi also advocated regular joint training amongst security agencies which will ensure a group thinking ideology and common front which will eventually aid a comprehensive security in the country.
