The commandant, Nigeria security and Civil Defence Corps, Plateau State Command, Commander Alexander Bissa Barunde has reiterated the Corps commitment at ensuring peaceful coexistence and maintenance of law and order in the state and the country at large.
The commandant disclosed this in commemoration of the 63rd Independence Anniversary of Nigeria.
Barunde assured the Plateau State Government and citizens that the Corps would continue to work tirelessly in ensuring that lives and critical national assets are well protected, and peace is maintained throughout the state.
Commandant Brunde also emphasized that no one agency can do it all alone, hence the need for all to work collaboratively to achieve the onerous task of national security.
The Commandant warned all miscreants to desist from their criminal was and be law abiding citizens.
He equally felicitates with the Executive Governor of Plateau State; Barr. Caleb Mutfwang and the peace loving people of plateau state a peaceful Independence Day celebration and prays for the unity and progress of the country and the state.
