The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command was honoured by the Youth Coalition for Education In Nigeria (YOCEN) last Tuesday at the NSCDC Command Headquarters Gombe.
Presenting the award and certificate of noble price for excellence as a vanguard of societal transformation in Nigeria to the State Commandant, the Secretary General of YOCEN, Engineer Yahaya Nuruddeen Yakubu said “the award was given to the State Commandant following his tract records, in recognition of his immense contributions towards societal transformation via, human capital development, effective service delivery, meritorious services of protection of lives and properties.
In his remark, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu, thanked the Youth Coalition for Education in YOCEN) for the honour saying, “it is indeed a recognition that speaks volumes to the ultimate goals of archiving peace and security as a prerequisite for development.”
He used the occasion to equally call on the youths to shun all forms of social vices and to be of good behaviors at all times.
