TUKUR MAMU’S ARREST: GROUP COMMENDS DSS

A civil Society Organization, Coalition for Nigeria’s Security Ambassadors (CNSA) has commended the professional capacity and ethical compliance of the Department of State Services (DSS) over the recent arrest of Tukur Mamu, a Nigerian serial bandits negotiator.

According to a statement signed by its National Secretary, Ambassador Tijanni Ogbeide, the civil society organization described the action of the DSS as a plausible one that has indeed added a great deal of value to Nigeria’s intelligence community.

‘’The professional conduct as applied by the DSS in the arrest of Tukur Mamu has further strengthened Nigerian’s belief and confidence in the productivity and efficiency of Nigeria’s security actors. DSS by this exemplary and impressive conduct has further proven that all hope is not lost in spite of the current insecurity challenges in Nigeria.

We are not unmindful of the fact that an ideal security organization like the DSS could not afford to deviate from the global standard, and this explains its time taking concrete and comprehensive findings before Mamu was eventually arrested.

With this attained feat by the DSS, permit our NGO to express its heartfelt excitement, and in the same breath urge the DSS to ensure that Mamu and his co travelers are thoroughly investigated with a view to bailing out Nigerians from further insecurity.”
