Ahead of Convention,2023 Polls: Gov Buni leads APC Chieftains to reconcile Gombe Gov, Senator Goje

Concerted efforts to  reconcile Gombe governor Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya and senator representing Gombe Central Mohammed Goje  got a boost.today in Abuja as  the National Reconciliation Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) met with both of them
The recent Abuja meeting followed a previous one held in the state capital ,Gombe , with  both  parleys geared  towards dousing tension and preset the ruling All progressives  Congress in the state towards winning  streaks ahead of the national convention and 2023 general elections
Recall that the state chapter of the APC had been enmeshed in  perceived grievances and disagreements arising from the recently concluded party congresses in the State. 
But according to the Chairman of the APC reconciliation Committee, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, he disclosed that after insights into the matter, especially after the first meeting in Gombe,   he was reassured and things became clear to his committee beyond any reasonable doubt, that Gombe state APC is intact and stronger under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
The  meeting which was attended by  the National Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni and other party bigwigs, at the residence of Senator Abdullahi, also had  former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, Senators and former governors among others in attendance

According to reports, it was learnt that both Governor Inuwa Yahaya and Senator Danjuma Goje were given opportunity to present their respective positions on the seeming misunderstanding and conflict in the APC in Gombe State 
After both sides were heard, a robust discussion followed with stakeholders,  with a view to unravelling the problems and proffering solutions  to settle the differences and  as well cement  cracks within the state chapter of the  party ahead of the national convention and 2023 general elections. 

However, chairman of the reconciliation committee, Senator Abdullahi further gave a commitment that they will leave no stone unturned to explore all ways of integrating members and strengthening the unity in the party.
