Intelligence sources confirmed that the injured soldiers were promptly evacuated to a nearby medical facility, where they are currently receiving treatment. Though their identities have not been disclosed, military sources have assured that all five soldiers are in stable condition.

In response to the attack, military reinforcements were quickly deployed to the area. Aggressive patrols and surveillance efforts have been intensified to locate and neutralize the bandits responsible for the attack while ensuring the safety of the public.

The Nigerian Army has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident. However, security operations remain ongoing as part of broader efforts to dismantle terror cells and restore peace to Sokoto State and its surrounding areas.
