Hired armed thugs on Thursday attacked human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, as he made his way out of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Sowore had visited the court on Thursday morning to attend the emergency hearing in a case involving the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
Kanu is being held by the Nigerian Government on charges of terrorism.
