The NSCDC Special Female Squad has paid a courtesy visit to Chairman, House Committee on Women in Parliament, Hon Taiwo Oluga, representing Ayedade/Isokan/Irewole Federal constituency at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
The Unit Commander, CSC Imonikhe Oluwakemi intimated the chairman that the Squad was created as one of the Commandant General’s vision to stem the tide of kidnapping of school children for ransom across the Nation.
Honourable Taiwo Oluga appreciated the Squad for the visit and commended the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi for his visionary leadership and passion for the security of the Nation especially on the Safe School Initiative.
She further promised to lend her support to strengthen the Squad while at the same time calling on other women in the parliament and the country at large for maximum support for the Female Squad.
