On Sunday 12 January 2025, the Indian Navy Ship (INS) TUSHIL arrived Lagos on a port visit to Nigerian Navy. She was received by Officers and Men of the Western Naval Command.

Subsequently, on Monday 13 January 2025, the INS TUSHIL ship company went for a visited Nigerian Navy Ship KADA and were given a tour of the ship.

For many years, the Indian and Nigerian Navies have collaborated in areas of maritime security.
