The new commissioner and his entourage were received by the state commandant and the management staff at the state administrative headquarters in Gusau on Wednesday, 8th January, 2025, for a visit aimed to familiarize and foster working relationship.
The Hon. Federal Commissioner, Amb. Ibrahim Hamidu in his remark stated he wishes to extend a courteous hand of administrative collaboration and to further solicit the support of the State command through future endeavours.
Amb. Hamidu noted the NSCDC as a stakeholder, relevant to Public Complaints Commission’s activities and to maximise the success of his tenure he deemed it essential to visit and intimate the state command of the PCC mandates, roles, mission and to renew cooperation; he concluded.
The state commandant, responded appreciative of the initiative and also copies of the PCC Mandate and Act presented to his office and stated they shall be explored; he assured the newly posted Federal Commissioner.
In conclusion, CC Sani Mustapha affirmed NSCDC Zamfara state command is happy to productively collaborate and aid the Public Complaints Commission where necessary in accordance with their Act and Mandate to serve the State better.
