COMMANDANT GYAMA GYAWIYA VISITS NORTH EAST DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION (NEDC) ON A WORKING COURTESY VISIT

Commandant Gyama Gyawiya, State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State Command has paid a courtesy visit to the State Coordinator of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) Gombe Office.
The visit aimed to strengthen the partnership between the NSCDC and NEDC in promoting peace, and development in the State. During the visit, Commandant Gyama, highlighted the NSCDC’s role in crisis management , disaster response, and Security enforcement. ” The Corps primary mandate is to protect lives and properties and its presence in the State has contributed significantly to maintaining law and order ” CC Gyama also, emphasized the importance of collaboration between the NSCDC and NEDC in addressing the security challenges facing the state. He enumerated the Corps’ efforts in protecting critical infrastructure, combating vandalism, and ensuring the safety of citizens.
In his response, the State Coordinator of NEDC Alh Rufai Baba Manu, appreciated the NSCDC’s commitment to securing the state and expressed willingness to work together to promote economic development and social stability.
This courtesy visit marks a significant step towards fostering a stronger partnership between the NSCDC and NEDC, ultimately enhancing the Security and well-being of Gombe State residents.
