NSCDC NABS FAKE SOLDIER, CORPS MEMBER OVER 1.218M FAKE TRANSACTIONS IN NASARAWA

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Nasarawa State Command has arrested a fake soldier and a Corps member for their involvement in a 1.218 Million Naira fake transaction in Lafia.

Parading the suspects at the Command’s Headquarters in Lafia, the state capital, the Commandant, MK Ingawa who spoke through the Command’s Public Relations Officer DSC Jerry Victor said, the suspects Mohammed Isa 41 yrs, male, impersonating military personnel was arrested alongside his accomplice, a Suspected Fake Corps Member, James Pius who are both indigene of Niger State by the men of the Rapid Response Squad of the NSCDC, Nasarawa state Command and the 22 Quick Response Wing of the Nigerian Airforce, the suspects were apprehended following a tip-off from a member of the public.

Items Recovered from the Suspects include;
Military Camouflage Top with trouser
Military boot and Jungle cap
Fake Military ID Card
Complete Corps members Kaki
3 Android Phones(Techno Pova and Camon 17,Redmi )
Receipt of payment of N1,218,000 from MONBEST INTEGRATED SYNERGY VENTURES
Others include-
Four (4) Pieces of Single 2.5mm2 100 meter electric cable.
Three (3) Pieces of Single 6mm2 100 meter electric cable
Two (2) Pieces of Single 10mm2 100 meter electric cable
One Unit of Duravolt Automatic Voltage Regulator (DV-1000)
One Unit of Qasa Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVRPRO 1000VA).

In another development, the Command under the amiable leadership of Comdt., MK Ingawa has arrested one Dahiru Isiaka 19yrs male from Ungwan Gayam in Lafia LGA of the state for Bulglary and theft. The suspect burgled an electronic shop along Doma road in Lafia and carted away a bundle of “Lagos style” cable, a bundle of 2.5mm cable and other valuables.

Again, one Habu Dogo 51yrs male, was arrested for Raping and impregnating his 16 years old niece, in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.

Investigations are ongoing, after which the sudpects will be charged to a court of competent jurisdiction for possible prosecution.

The State Commandant MK Ingawa said the NSCDC in its uncompromising status will not, and will never relent in her efforts of eradicating crimes and criminality in the state. He gave a stern warning to the criminal element to repent to a new leave or relocate from the state. He urged the public to be security conscious and report any suspected movements or activities to the nearest security agency.
