The newly posted principal manager of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Gusau work centre Mr. Ahmed Mohammed paid a courtesy visit aimed to introduce and strengthen alliance between the two agencies in Zamfara state, Wednesday, 6th November, 2024.
The principal manager stated, this visit is to familiarize the new leadership of TCN Gusau work centre and the Zamfara state command, resolved to end electrical infrastructural sabotage.
He continued, as the new principal manager, I recognized the importance of fostering security cooperation with the state command considering the incessant vandalisations of power infrastructures and daily security challenges faced in the state.
“In view of the federal government efforts to providing a sustainable and uninterrupted supply of electricity, the TCN seeks the collaborative support of NSCDC to abruptly stop all nefarious activities on the transmission assets” He submitted.
Commandant Sani Mustapha, asserted the NSCDC as mandated, has the prerogative of providing comprehensive security to all critical national assets & infrastructures within the confines of the Federation and the state command works in line to ensure this feat is achieved in Zamfara state.
The state commandant reassured the leadership of TCN, Gusau work centre of continuous alliance in the pursuit of ending deliberate damage to transmission assets, investment and infrastructures.
