In line with its mandate to ensure professionalism, proficiency and Standard the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC Gombe State Command has trained 55 private Guards personnel belonging to 9 different Private Guards Companies. The training which was conducted by the Department of Private Guard Companies , (PGC) saw the personnel of the following PGC’s

Addressing the personnel during the passing out ceremony, The State Commandant, Commandant Gyama Gyawiya declared that Nigeria Security and Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC is saddled with the responsibility of licensing, monitoring and supervision of the activities of Private Guards Companies in Nigeria as contained in Sec 3. Of the 2003 and 2007 NSCDC ACT as amended and reminded them that their new profession requires courage, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility. He tasked them to conduct themselves professionally, maintain a high standard of discipline, ethics and to respect human rights. Commandant Gyawiya also urged them as they go forth, to remember that their actions reflect not only on themselves but also on the industry, therefore, charged them to embody excellence, loyalty and commitment. He congratulated them on their new roles as ambassadors of Private Security industry.
