The State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Katsina State Command,
Commandant of Corps Jamilu Abdu Indabawa decorated the Senior Officers of the Command promoted in the 2024 promotion exercise by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) today Tuesday 29th October, 2024 at the Command Headquarters.
In his opening remarks, the Commandant Congratulated the newly promoted Officers and charged them for more commitments, discipline, dedication and incurruptibility.
“You must remain discipline, dedicated and incorruptible in the performance of your assigned responsibilities” the Commandant urged.
In his good will message, the Commandant College for Peace and Disaster Management Katsina ACG Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma who represented the Commandant General A.A Audi PhD, mni, OFR said that promotion is an act of God. He further called on all the promoted officers to do more in promoting Safety and Security for the good people of Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole.
In his keynote address, the Commissioner of Police CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa psc+ while congratulating the newly promoted officers,
emphasized on the relevance of esprit-de-corps among the Security agencies.
The CP tasked officers to prepare ahead of more responsibilities and national posting as the standard in the service.
167 Personnel promoted in the Command across various ranks from Assistant Superintendent of Corps II (ASC II) to Deputy Commandant of Corps (DCC) . 6 personnel were promoted to the rank of Deputy Commandant of Corps (DCC), 3 to the rank of Assistant Commandant of Corps (ACC), 5 to Chief Superintendent of Corps (CSC), 10 to Superintendent of Corps (SC), 12 to Deputy Superintendent of Corps (DSC), 56 to Assistant Superintendent of Corps I(ASC I) and 73 to Assistant Superintendent of Corps II (ASC II).
The unpresidented promotion of large number of NSCDC personnel also demonstrated the resolve of the highly erudite and indefatigable Commandant General who upon assumption to office reiterated his commitments to rejig, revamp, restructure and reposition the Corps for better performance.
With the visionary and excellent leadership style of CG Audi the era of stagnation in the Corps is over.

Commission of Police CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa psc+, the representative of Brigade Commander 17 Brigade, Brigadier General BO Omopariola , the representative of State Director of Security, Abubakar Adebowale Sanusi, fsi, fdc, the representative of State Controller of Corrections, Ahmed Abdu Usman, the representative of Custom Area Controller CAC Abba-Aji Idriss, the representative of State Comptroller of Immigration, CIS Mohammed Adamu Mahmoud, representative of Sector Commander RS 1.3 FRSC CC Aliyu Ma’aji, and representative of State Commander NDLEA CN Muhammed Aminu Abubakar among others.
