The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Delta State Command, Matthew Sunday Ovye has received executive members of COHEADS Delta State in his office at the State Command Headquarters in Asaba.
The Chairman, Mr. John Onovroke appreciated the State Commandant, CC Mathew S. Ovye and other management staff present for receiving them at the shortest notice.
He pointed out the reasons for the formation of COHEADS and the attendant benefits not just for the members but also for the host states and the society in general.
It is also an opportunity to fraternise together forming a formidable front to create a good and lasting impression on the host states.
Commandant Ovye in his response pointed out his previous experiences serving with COHEADS and noted that COHEADS helps in reducing crime rate and helps to nip security threats in the bud through the establishment of Schools, recreational centres and other development ventures designed to have affordable fees and recruitment of members of the public especially the youth.
Commandant Ovye promised to partner with COHEADS here in Delta state and will in due course attend one of the meetings.
