In a bid to promote the 3Cs (cooperation, coordination and collaboration) among security Agencies in Imo State, the state commandant, Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Imo state command, Dr. Mary Euphrasia Mbanugo has commenced her familiarization visit across the State.
The visit kick-started today, the 27th of September, 2024, and
the Commandant visited three (3) security Agencies in the state and at their various commands, they are: The Nigeria Police Force, The Department of Security Service and The Nigeria Correctional Service.
These visits were centered on synergy, Partnership, collaboration, cooperation and fraternization between NSCDC lmo state command and the 3 aforementioned security Agencies.
Commandant Mary while making her speech reiterated that she has not come to establish a new synergy rather to strengthen the already existing synergy between the corps and other security Agencies in the state. She furthermore appealed for the support of these heads of security agencies and also suggested that the robust synergy being enjoyed at the senior cadre should be taken down to the junior cadre in that often times inter-agency clash emanates from the junior ones.
In their responses, the Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, The State Director, Department of Security Service, SD Shola Aguda fsi, and the Controller Of Correctional, CC Kingsley A. Njoku appreciated Dr Mbanugo for the visit, as they promised fervently to always work with NSCDC in Imo State to ensure oneness among security outfits and to fight crime and criminalities across the State.
One of the highpoints of these events were taken of pictures among all officers present and exchange of genuine pleasantries after the events.
