ANRPM COLLABORATES WITH NSCDC LAGOS STATE COMMAND ON PROTECTION OF CRITICAL NATIONAL ASSETS

Today, Wednesday, 25th September, 2024, the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro received in his office, the Executive members of the Association of Nigeria Refineries Petroleum Marketers ( ANRPM ), Lagos State Chapter, led, by Mr Eniola Thomas Olugbenga.

The Lagos State Commandant, Mr Adedotun Keshinro welcomes, the collaborative efforts of the aforementioned association above, which aims to upscaling the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure in the state. He also notes that the association’s widespread at the Local Government Areas ( LGAs ) will further aid the command, to work with them at close – knit, in a bid to nip destructions, vandalization, cruelty and other forms of economic sabotage in the bud.

The Association of Nigeria Refineries Petroleum Marketers ( ANRPM ) led, by its Lagos State Chapter’s Chairman, Mr Eniola Olugbenga reiterates, their trust and confidence in the Corps towards fulfilling its mandate in Lagos State. He affirms that his executives are willing and ready to collaborate with the Corps, in order to stamp out oil thieves, vandals and illegal dealings in petroleum products in the country, especially, in our dear State, which he superintends over with the assistance of his fellow executives for the association.

The successful outcome of the visit, which summarily, describes collaborative efforts between the Corps and relevant stakeholders in the upstream industry is a landmark and unprecedented commitment to show the Corps’ unflinching efforts in ensuring that the “renewed hope agenda,” of the current administration remains workable and successful.

The Lagos State Commandant while also speaking to newsmen seizes, the opportunity to seriously, warn unrepentant vandals to desist from their evil and inimical, destructive and unscrupulous ventures often capable of undermining the nation’s economy. He re – affirms the Corps’ commitment towards bringing anyone or person found culpable to book, in accordance with the law.
