In a compassionate show of leadership and solidarity, former Chief of Army Staff and Nigeria’s former Ambassador to the Republic of Benin, His Exvelkency, Lieutenant General TY Buratai (Rtd), Betara of Biu and Garkuwan Keffi was in Maiduguri, Borno State, to offer his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Borno over the recent devastating flood disaster.
Demonstrating a deep commitment to the welfare of the affected communities, General Buratai led a team that provided free medical consultations, distributed essential drugs, and offered much-needed food palliatives to some of those impacted by the floods.
