At a courtesy visit to the Ondo State Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General, Olukayode Ajulo by the State Commandant, CC Oluyemi Ibiloye, today, Tuesday September 17, 2024, the honourable Commissioner assured the legal team of the command of his ministry support in prosecuting state offences.
The State Commandant led the legal team of the command to discuss areas of collaboration and support with the Attorney General as the team was having issues prosecuting state offences at the courts.
With the new trend of illegal mining in the state and the responsibility of the NSCDC to protect critical national assets and infrastructures, the command solicited the support of the Commissioner to nip the trend in the bud.
The Commissioner who said he his in a hurry to make a mark said fiat would be granted to prosecute state matters whenever the need arises. He also said the ministry has attended promptly to all gender based violence related cases forwarded by the NSCDC.
On the visiting team were the representatives of the Legal unit, Gender unit, Peace and Conflict Resolution unit, Intelligence and Investigation Department, and Operations.
