NSCDC BOSS, DR. AHMED AUDI BECOMES PRESIDENT OF INSTITUTE OF REGISTERED ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGERS

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who doubles as the current President of the Institute of Registered Administrative Managers of Nigeria, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has assured  of his commitment to uphold the ideals of the institute, and build on the legacy left for members by his predecessors.

Speaking at his investiture in Abuja, Dr Audi who assumes the apex office of the institute as 4th President, also solicited the support and collaboration of the council and members through active participation and contribution of ideas and insights as part of collective efforts to achieve the objective of the noble institute and accomplish their shared goals.

“During my tenure of office we shall work hard to explore opportunities available to uplift the standards of the institute and also make efforts to advance the quality of service and research to enhance knowledge and administrative concerns in our quest for excellence for members and the general public, the President added”.

In furtherance with his acceptance speech after swearing to an Oath of Allegiance administered by the institute’s Solicitor, Barr Imokhe Imolire, the new President charged the institute’s Registrar, Dr Oboigbe Victor, F.inst. AM, to meet him a day after his investiture to enable him ascertain how the institute had fared in the past in order to give him a clear picture to chat a way forward.

Earlier in an address of welcome, a Fellow and Member of Governing Council of the Institute, Dr Izegaegbe Ehikhueeme, congratulated the President on his ascension to the highest office of the institute and expressed optimism in his competence and capability.

He explained that the institute is an association of professionals who are networking knowledge, skills and experiences for the enhancement of the art and science of administrative management practice.

Pursuant to the vision and mission of the institute, he said five administrative fields of practice for members like organisation system development, office facilities management, information and records management, job analysis to support human resource functions and meeting management have been identified.

The investiture which was attended by other council members, Deputy Commandants General, Assistant Commandants General and Commandants of Corps from the NSCDC also witnessed other highlights like words of felicitation delivered by Deputy Commandant General in charge of Technical Services, DCG Zakari Ibrahim Ningi fdc, and Mallam Shehu  Ringim.
