NSCDC ONDO PARADES 7 SUSPECTS FOR CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES

After a sustained intelligence gathering, the Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps arrested seven (7) suspects for illegal mining, stealing, and armed robbery. 

The suspects paraded by the State Commandant, Commandant Ibiloye Oluyemi on 2nd September 2024 at the command headquarters include; Galadima Umaru, male, 25 years old, Indigene of Gada in Sokoto State, Ibrahim Haruna, male, 25 years old, Indigene of Fimboa in Katsina, and Ibrahim Jubril, male, 20 years old, indigene of Bini Kwaari, Kaduna State were arrested on 30th August, 2024 at about 1830hours around ogunlepa Famakinwa Village, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State for illegal mining.  

Omoniyi Folorunso, male, 20 years old, indigene of Ute in Owo Local Government Area, was arrested for stealing generator parts at Onitiri Area of Oda Road, Akure while Kenneth Abraham, male, 20 years old, indigene of Benue State and resident of Ita-Ogbolu, Akure North Local Government Area, was arrested at Obatedo farm settlement for stealing cocoa pods and seeds. 

For armed robbery, Ojo Segun, male, 18 years old, and Onile Dayo, male, 19 years old, were arrested on 23rd August 2024 at Ifon, Ondo State. 

The suspects robbed Abdulrahim Aliu using dangerous weapons.

The suspects already confessed to the crimes and will be charged to court at the end of the investigation.
