POST NATIONWIDE PROTEST: OUR WATER-TIGHT SECURITY MEASURES ARE INTACT SAYS KEBBI NSCDC HELMSMAN, COMMANDANT KABIRU ALKAMAWA

Kebbi State helmsman of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Kabiru Alkamawa, has reassured the public of the consistent, watertight security put in place even days after the nationwide protests that lasted 10 days.

“Speaking shortly after he was presented with the 3rd-year compendium of achievements of the NSCDC CG, Commandant Alkamawa said that although the protest had the lowest impact in Kebbi State due to pre-emptive security measures put in place by the corps operatives in conjunction with other sister security agencies, the NSCDC has not rested on its oars, especially concerning the enormous security measures implemented by his operatives.”

“Let me reassure the residents of Kogi State that the security measures in place to protect lives and property remain intact. They should feel secure going about their legitimate business without fear of intimidation or harassment from anyone. I would like to thank all the good people of Kebbi State for their peaceful comportment before, during, and after the protest period. I further implore them not to hesitate to report any suspicious movement or gathering to us and other security agencies.” said Commandant Alkamawa.
