The Kebbi State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence
Corps, Commandant Abubakar Kabiru Alkamawa, has described the tenure
of Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi as the Commandant General of the Nigeria
Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) as a turning point in the
life of the corps.
Speaking during the presentation of the third-year compendium of
achievements of Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi as Commandant General of the
NSCDC, Commandant Alkamawa disclosed that Dr. Audi’s tenure as the
helmsman of the NSCDC has been quite fruitful over the last three
years, both for the Corps and, in particular, its personnel, whose
productivity has enormously improved during this period.
“Let me say with all emphasis at my disposal, and without fear of
contradiction, that the leadership of Dr. Audi in the NSCDC over the
last three years can be best described as a turning point in the life
of the NSCDC in all ramifications. Apart from being propelled into the
limelight on account of its sterling service delivery to all
Nigerians, the NSCDC under our Commandant General Audi has done a lot
to improve welfare and relevant skill acquisition in the area of
training both at home and abroad,” said Commandant Alkamawa.
